Detailed Treatment Summary

Medical History:
Hashimoto’s Thyrioditis diagnosed March 2001.  Had enlarged right lobe of thyriod until surgically removed.  History of hypertension and depression.

Medical History since Diagnosis:
Have symptoms of Hypothriodism that includes frequent fatigue.  No symptoms from Maltoma.

Comments:
My case was difficult to diagnose since Maltoma is hard to distinguish between Hasimoto’s Thyrioditis. Two sets of CT and PET scans were performed.  A second opinion was obtained from the Mayo Clinic.  Radiation therapy recommended as more of a precaution.

Job/Family:
Electrical Engineer, married 11 years, have 7 year old daughter adopted from China in 1997.
